Here & Now | November 2018 Link-Up

Loving //

Cooler days after the heatwave we had a week ago and the garden bursting in flowers on most of the plants. I'm also admiring the beautiful handspun yarn samples and hand dyed/spun/woven coasters I was sent by

Vicki Cornish of Bonsai Woman

. I interviewed Vicki for

Yarnologie Issue 02

, and she was kind enough to send some samples of her gorgeous work.

Eating //

Fresh strawberries from the patch with yoghurt most days, and there's a chicken roasting away in the oven as I type. It smells delicious.

Drinking //

Less tea as the days warm.

Feeling //

That the weekend is going by too quickly - this week was full-on and I'm not ready to start the next one.

Making //

A star garland for the swap, pictured in progress above and then wrapped and ready for the post. I'm also knitting the second sock in my red nettle pair. The stars are knitted from

organic cotton

in the colour Rosie & Pearl and

the pattern is here

.

Thinking //

I'd better go and put the pudding into the oven and write a letter (yes, that's a weird combination.) I'm also thinking about tomorrow's to-do list.

Dreaming //

Of not too much, I'm actually spending more time reflecting into the past at the moment. Perhaps its the time of year?

I'm sorry that Here & Now is late this month! I didn't realise what the date was until today, realised that I'd almost missed posting the 2nd last H&N for the year! I promise to try and post the December's link-up on time.
