Known by many names, colourwork knitting is a very satisfying and simple knitting technique that yields impressive results. From traditional Fair Isle motifs to modern stranded designs, colourwork can add a lot of dimension to any knitted project.

Colourwork is my favourite kind of knitting. It’s so easy to knit just one more row as you watch the design emerge beneath your hands. You don’t need to be an expert knitter to try colourwork. If you can confidently knit and purl, you’re ready to learn this new skill.

I love teaching this fun technique to knitters and showing them how simple it actually is! My Colourwork Knitting Workshop has continued to be my most popular class and I’m delighted to have brought it online so everyone can access it.
