Here & Now

Loving // All these beautiful pink blooms. The first two photos are of a tree that I never notice until it flowers every year. I don't know the name of it, and I didn't know that it's gorgeous flowers were scented either until I went to take a picture. The perfume is so strong it is almost overwhelming. Do you know what kind of tree it is?

Eating // Mangoes from our tree, and sourdough cinnamon scrolls. I saw a River Cottage special episode for Christmas, and in it they made a delicious fruit and spice filled pull-apart bread. They baked it in a spring-form tin, and so I was inspired to try my usual cinnamon scrolls cooked in a tin. It is my new favourite method.

Drinking // Twinnings English Breakfast

Feeling // Rather flat and worn out

Making // Progress on my new toy design. I'm quite pleased and very excited for you to meet her

Thinking // About writing a recipe for spelt sourdough starter....would you like one?

Dreaming // Of lambs in June. I know spring lambing wasn't really that long ago, but I love these babies so much!
